Being in the medical field and working in a
busy ER, this is the only shoe I will wear. This is my 2nd
pair in 7 years. I probably could've gotten a new one sooner
but they really are EXTREMELY durable. I've had times where
I've forgotten my Dansko's and had to wear my tennis shoes to
work and boy did I pay for it at the end of the day! My feet
and calves would be sore and achey. Don't let the fit
initially fool you. It feels as if the shoe is too big because
your heel is lifting up but that it is the correct fit. I
would highly recommend Dansko's Professional Clogs.
I wear a 9 but had to get an equivalent to a 10
in this shoe to get the proper fit. I am a nurse and have been
for 15 years. I've worked in many shoes and always had heel
pain. I didn't want to pay this much for these shoes because I
didn't like the look of them and they felt so heavy. I finally
tried them and I will never work in anything else. My heels
never hurt anymore. And I've grown to really like the look. I
even wear them out shopping with my jeans. Very versatile, can
wear with scrubs or dress clothes.
I own a dozen pair with most being the
professional style. I have owned several pair for 10 years
which I still wear to work as a RN.
Dansko is the perfect shoe for all occasions dressy to casual
and I have worn them continuously for 36 hours straight
without fatique.
I have even worn the dressy black in a NYC snowstorm shopping
without getting my FEET wet!!!
Dansko is a maker of high quality
professional and casual shoes. They used to be the secret of
medical professionals who spend hours on their feet and other
professionals such as chefs. I've worn Dansko for years in the
form of their horseback riding boots and their clogs for
casual wear. They never wear out! Great if you have a flat
foot because the anatomical insoles provide arch support.
These shoes are not for everyone. But for those of us that
love them, well, it is with a passion. |
