I, myself, live in Danskos and bought this shoe
for my 12 year old daughter. She is a dancer with a high arch
and a very long narrow foot. As you can probably imagine she
is almost impossible to fit! This is a wonderful shoe with a
perfect fit. She felt like she needed to grip with her toes at
first but then she got used to the natural slide of the shoe
and now she loves them. She is extremely hard on her shoes and
I know from my own experience that this shoe is going to hold
up. In addition to its being a rugged shoe the style also
makes her feet look very nice. In short - happy kid happy
mom!! I really like the Oiled brown
clogs but the only problem with them is that they scuff up too
bad and I can't wear them out in the rain, hard to clean. I
got a 39 in these, fit was great. I just got another pair the
Black box in a size 39 and they seem abit too small. Which is
frustrating because if I go up it will be too big. It's
strange since they are the same shoe but fit totally
different. I may return these. Overall, they are very
comfortable and stylish.
I have had these shoes for 1 and 1/2 years,
and wear them on a very regular basis, and they still look
brand new. They are very easy to care for, and hold up to
pretty much anything. They make my feet feel very warm and
secure. They also are relatively plain, but classy, so they
match well with work-wear. My only complaint would be that
there really is not much padding, and they are not flexible
with the movement of my feet.
I teach elementary school and am on my feet
a good portion of the day and have to walk up and down stairs
and around our big building a lot. I was not a fan of clogs,
but after a full day of work my legs are not throbbing at all.
I would recommend trying on different sizes because assorted
styles can fit differently. Even though they are higher priced
than I usually spend, buy at least 1 pair-you won't regret it. |
