Having worked in the footwear industry, I have
found the Dansko Professional to be the perfect shoe for all
day comfort. It's not the prettiest shoe ever, but comfort and
stability are more important to me. If I had one style of shoe
to live the rest of my life in, it would be the Professional.
I have several pair and find it hard to wear other shoes I
have. I have spread the love of Dansko to my family, friends,
and co-workers. They really are the perfect shoe!
I teach school and these shoes are very
comfortable for a full day on my feet. They look fine with
casual skirts/dresses and pants. I wear them with thin nylon
socks which feel best to me with Danskos. I usually buy black,
but I really like the versatility of this cordovan color. I
like the cabrio much better than the oiled or nubuck -- easier
to keep clean and nice-looking.
I LOVE these shoes - after years of wearing
heels to work, my lower back was often stiff and sore. Now
that I'm wearing these, my back and my feet feel great! Since
I'm a marathoner, I especially appreciate how comfortable
these shoes are -- I wear them non-stop for the week leading
